The Bridgestone Tyre Centre is a great example of Commercial Property Development to the highest standards. It has been designed, engineered and constructed to meet the high standards of a growing industry.

The Brief:
The client came to us wanting delivery of turn-key Heavy Vehicle Truck-Tyre Centres, including land acquisition, project scoping and concept design, detailed design, town planning, project management and design.

Key Challenges:
The key challenges we could see for this project were developing the building design and project scope to meet the requirements of the tenant.

Solutions:
We overcame these challenges by providing open and honest communication and building client relationship from the get-go.

Key Features:
The key points of difference to mention of the project are the Heavy Vehicle B Double vehicles' access to sites, liaison with local councils, including road upgrades.

Timeframe:
The project was completed on time and in budget.

Ardill Payne & Partners provided Structural and Civil Engineering, Project Management, Environmental and Town Planning for the project.

Lance Ferris Wharf Ballina

There were many aspects to this project we needed to be aware of including that there were different berthing requirements, a sloping sea bed, and minimising long term maintenance.

The Brief:
The client came to us wanting a traditional timber wharf system which could withstand large berthing loads from occasional large vessels as well as accommodating more frequent smaller vessels

Key Challenges:
The key challenges we could see for this project were developing the building design and project scope to meet the requirements of the tenant.

Solutions:
The key challenges we could see for this project were different berthing requirements, a sloping sea bed, and minimising long term maintenance.

Key Features:
The key features/points of difference to mention of the project are, the dual berthing system, and the overall value for money, low maintenance cost wharf that we achieved.

APP's Role:
Ardill Payne & Partners were responsible for the Structural Design of the wharf.

Timeframe
The project was completed in one and a half years.

The budget for the project was $700,000.

Lennox Head Community Centre

The Lennox Community Centre is located conveniently in the Lennox Head Village Centre. The Centre is home to the Lennox Head Library and has five meeting spaces, a dedicated children’s area and a multi-use auditorium, suitable for large scale community events and sports use.

The Brief
The client came to us wanting a Community Focus Point providing sports and library facilities, presented as a highly sculptured building to enhance the built environment of Lennox Head.

Key Challenges
The key challenges we could see for this project were the complex building shapes and incorporation of building services within these shapes.

Solutions
We overcame these challenges by detailed design and documentation skills and close working relationship with the builder.

Timeframe
The project was completed in 2 years.

Ardill Payne & Partners undertook the Structural & Civil Design of the project. The original concept design for the Lennox Head Community Centre was completed by Greenway Hirst Page Architects. Archimages Architecture provided construction documentation and contract administration services.
APP completed the detailed design and documentation for the Community Centre, including access roads, car parking areas, storm water management and certification.
